I really wish Argos would stop fobbing Christmas adverts on me in October. It's far to early.

Also, I really hate Halloween. Well, not so much Halloween but the annoying people outside having fun whilst I'm stuck inside writing the draft intro to my thesis cos my supervisor's moved up the deadline by a week.

*Is stressed and annoyed*

Have been listening to more Lucie/Eight Big Finish audios. The Lucie/Eight dynamic is similar to the Donna/Ten dynamic, yes? Except less emo-angst in the former.

Also, I think I have become obsessed with the Sarah Jana Adventures a little more than is considered healthy.

Warning - Spoilers for the SJA

I'm more excited about this than this.

How much do I really need a degree anyway?

Have started my final year at uni. It is rather scary and foreboding. Also means I am going to have to start applying for proper jobs and such real soon. Which is lame because I have just gotten use to being a poor student, lazing about and not really doing very much of anything.
Uni starting also means new flatmates. Have three of them. Seen three of them, but haven't actually met any of them. I predict a nice quiet flat this year. This is good as I have a Big Nasty Thesis to write.

I seem to be developing some type of virus in the back of my throat. It's all flemmy and sore and rather difficult to breathe at times. Thankfully, I have my trusty Beechams blackcurrant flavoured flu-relief drink, which seems to be helping.

In other news (more specifically DW related news): I have finally fallen in love with Eight! Thank you, Big Finish. I have been listening to the NEA series. Am also rather in love with Lucie. And now I want Eight/Lucie shipfic, but can't seem to find any anywhere. This sucks. Please remedy internets, thanks.

That is all.

Doctor Who audio's

So, I may be a bit late to the party, but I just discovered that Big Finish is releasing this: An Earthly Child.

I'm awfully excited. I've always had a fascination with the Doctor's grand-daughter, and I've been frustrated on numerous occasions by the lack of back story for Susan. So hopefully we'll get some info (even if it's not entirely considered as canon by some folks!)

What was your favorite movie when you were a kid? Is it still your favorite now that you're older?

Peter Pan. I still love it. I even have it on DVD.
